The harp-music playing under the film is a piece I composed. After visiting the Aran island  Inish More and finding a hird part to it, I gave it the the name “Dun Aengus”.

If your plans have to change, because of the weather, you can get your family/friends or any other group together and have a 2hours or 4hours workshop felting. Make a spontaneous appointment. Times open to arrangements.

Courses for Adults:

Art1.”Guaranteed learn how to Draw!”

Where you learn how to look at things the proper way when you want to draw them. Learn helping tricks and how to use the right side of the brain and guaranteed be able to draw after this course. This caters for people without drawing skills up to talents. You will be amazed by what you can achieve with a box full of tricks and tools and an inside into how our brain works.

Art2.”Where is my Imagination?”:

 Work after Max Ernst technique like automatic drawing, frottage, cartography, ect. tapping into our subconscious as sources of imagination and inspiration.This course is for everybody who loves drawing and painting, but just does not know what to paint and where to start. Great fun.

5 2-hour sessions, € 90, – inclusive material

 

Felting1:”Introduction into Felting”:

Wet and dry or needle- felting with different high quality wools, their uses for different works. You will learn a range of techniques by felting small objects like a ball, puppet, snake and a piece of fabric.

The ancient craft of felting known to us from the booties of  the people of the Aran Islands to Mongolians, felting their tents called yurts, taken into the 21st century with needle- and nano-felting. It enjoys since years a revival all over the world with new creations and techniques constantly added. People less talented with their hands can achieve easily good results as well.

5 2-hour sessions, €80, – plus material

 

Felting2: “The Group Blanket”:

Groups from 4 persons up can felt a blanket together. Excellent very personal gift for example Babies, made from the softest of Marino wools. This can be done in a workshop during several hours on one day. Time open to appointment. Costs depending on size of blanket. Floor rags or wall hangings are popular as well.

 Courses for Teenagers (~14-18)

Mime: “The Essentials”:

A course covering all important techniques of classical mime a la Marcel Marceau.Lessons are divided into 3 parts: warm up/body awareness, mime technique, play and improvisation.Talented participants have the possibility to take part in a professional show supported by the arts council during the summer.

 9 2-hour sessions, €140, -

 

 Courses need 4 people min. to take place. More participants result into cheaper fees!
